UNI EN ISO 9001:2000
The main purpose of our Quality Assurance System, which complies with UNI EN ISO 9001 standards, is to meet institutional requirements and avoid non-compliance with these requirements in planning and carrying out the activity related to the provision of the services in the areas of audio-visual equipment rental, technical support, language services, translation, and transcription that we offer to our customers.
In addition to this main objective, the Quality Assurance System also aims at:
- promoting the culture of quality in all of the company's staff members, by involving them in understanding, applying, and improving the processes that regulate the activity;
- achieving the ongoing improvement of business processes and quality levels beyond the established requirements;
- pursuing customer satisfaction through the application of this System.
If properly applied, the Quality Assurance System ensures that service reliability, i.e. the ability to achieve the results for which the service was performed, may be ensured by demonstrating the company's skills in planning and performing the processes and actions that make up the System.
All requests we receive from the customers are directed to the relevant department, analysed, and entered into an online system that allows checking and controlling by both the quality assurance supervisor and other department staff, if involved (consider, for example, a request to rent equipment as well as interpretation services). Each stage, from information collection to service delivery, is entered into a chart that allows us to see the status of the project and check whether the department staff members have fulfilled their duties. In the event of synergies, various staff members may access the project and check their colleagues' work in a star-shaped relationship matrix. The end result is the execution of a service or the delivery of a product, a process that is controlled several times to prevent any possible errors or misunderstandings through communication. We take special care in managing the collection of information, which is crucial to understand the customer's true needs.
UNI EN 15038:2006
At the end of May 2007 we obtained the certification pursuant to UNI EN 15038:2006, which defines the quality standards for translation service providers (TSPs). While the norm partly reflects the rules on quality control practices typical of the ISO 9001:2000 system, it also specifies the features a high-quality translation should have, and thus certifies the output and the company that is capable to provide such output on request. Studiobusca Servizi, among the first in Europe, can provide translations that comply with the EN 15038:2006 standard, and its structure allows it to abide by the strict process control rules stated therein. The norm, in fact, “specifies the requirements for the translation service provider (TSP) with regard to human and technical resources, quality and project management, the contractual framework, and service procedures.”
In order to ensure the utmost protection to our customers, our company applies the Federcenti code of ethics.
We have taken out civil liability insurance for damages caused during the installation of equipment in the Conference Systems Department, as well as professional risk insurance for the Translation and Transcription Department.
