Simultaneous Translation SystemsThis type of systems allows the user to listen to as many as 13 languages at the same time. The installation involves the use of an amplification system to allow the interpreters to listen to the speaker in headphones and transmit their translation to the participants using small receivers distributed by the reception hostesses. The interpreters work in fixed or mobile booths that may even be located in a separate room from that where the event is being held, connected through a CCTV system. |
