Chuchotage interpretationChuchotage or “whispered” interpretation applies where no more than three participants are involved. The interpreter usually sits behind the customers and whispers the translation in a nearly simultaneous manner. When the interpreter's customers speak, the translation is provided consecutively for a larger audience. A chuchotage interpreter may work for a maximum of two hours. Two interpreters are required for sessions of more than two hours. |
