Our organisation

The Translation and Transcription Department is a company within the company.

As it was one of the first departments to be established more than 30 years ago, it enjoys nearly complete autonomy in terms of management and administration. Only the Quality Assurance Manager and the Secretary are shared with the other departments.

The organisation consists of a dedicated Project Manager for each customer, who is responsible for evaluating the best solution for the proposed translation. Once the quotation has been prepared and accepted, the process begins with the preparation of the document to be translated.

Our organisation involves a complex planning system that ensures constant oversight of the project status, from the early telephone contacts to the final drafting of the satisfaction questionnaire, which concludes the quality assurance process.

Tra i due estremi i punti di controllo sono ben 9:

1. file or document reception;
2. file preparation for translation;
3. file forwarding to the translator;
4. review of work in progress;
5. reception of the translated file;
6. proofreading of the translation;
7. adjustment and reconstruction of the file in its original format;
8. transmission to the customer;
9. issuing of the invoice.

All these steps are recorded and may be viewed by the PM and the quality assurance supervisor, and they all apply to each project, whether it be one page or a thousand.
